violence and death as the result of deep divisions between Sunnis and Shiites
and always, the children die and suffer
the beat goes on, and on, and on .....
man’s inhumanity to man, the children in the crossfire
we learn so much, we accomplish so much
only to find, that it is one step forward and two steps back
because, we keep doing the wrong things
we keep dancing in the dark
despite the glitter and glow of what we call civilization and the status quo
and always the children
must suffer man’s inhumanity to man

As long as there are fanatics of any stripe things like this will continue to happen. The only value of violence is the lesson we learn from it.
